If you’re using cloud payroll software, it’s important to ensure your provider is whitelisted by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and has undergone independent auditing for your peace of mind. We’re excited to announce that we have successfully updated our iSO 27001:2013 and have now achieved ISO 27001:2022 certification with Compass Assurance Services. A heartfelt thank you goes to the incredible team at ISO365. Their exceptional service and support have made managing ISO requirements a seamless experience. We truly appreciate their dedication and ongoing partnership!
What is ISO 27001, and why is it needed?
The ISO 27001 standard guides the establishment, implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of an information security management system (ISMS).
Conformity with ISO 27001 means that e-PayDay Pty Ltd has implemented a system to manage risks related to the security of the data we manage. Our ISMS implementation respects all the best practices and principles enshrined in this International Standard.
With cybercrime on the rise and new threats constantly emerging, managing cyber risks can seem complicated. ISO 27001 helps us be risk-aware and proactively identify and address weaknesses.
ISO 27001 promotes a holistic approach to information security: vetting people, policies and technology. The ISMS implemented to this standard is our tool for risk management, cyber-resilience and operational excellence.
Our software is ATO whitelisted and ISO 27001 certified without any marketing gimmicks.
We do not need to make exaggerated claims of being “approved,” “compliant,” “endorsed,” “accredited,” “certified,” or “authorised” by the ATO or Fair Work, as such terms often serve as marketing ploys. The government does not endorse employment technology; instead, they require everyone to undergo testing, and if successfully passed, they whitelist (allowlist) products for commercial use.
All our e-PayDay Go® payroll plans are whitelisted for Single Touch Payroll Phase 2 reporting without relying on misleading marketing claims. We believe in getting straight to the point and skipping unnecessary BS (business speak). If using cloud payroll software, ensure your provider is whitelisted by the ATO and ISO 27001:2022, independently audited and certified.
