Payroll News for Spring 2025

We had a fantastic and smooth end to the financial year! A heartfelt thank you to all our wonderful customers for expertly managing their processes; your efforts truly made a difference! We are proud to share our progress with e-PayDay Go®. We recently released Series 4, which includes many features we've been eager to implement. Many enhancements have also been completed to meet our agile software development goals.

One standout feature is our first STP mobile app, ClockMeIn® (EPSS) Payrollee Self Service, now available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play. While other apps have similar functionalities, ClockMeIn® shares a unified code base with e-PayDay Go®, ensuring seamless integration with our payroll platform. Many features have yet to be added, but we had to start somewhere, so stay tuned for our upcoming enhancements.

Another big-ticket item was improving Roles and Permissions, which we wanted to provide in an earlier release, but had many other items that needed to be completed first. The Roles and Permissions functionality included in our first releases needed to be rewritten entirely, which we have now finished. With this new foundation, we can provide for improved granular control in future releases. You can micro-manage access to almost every aspect of e-PayDay Go®'s extensive features and functionality.

Happy PayDays,

Brett

You evaluate your employees' performance, but do you let them rate you? Now we provide the ability with ClockMeIn® Mood-a-Rater™.

Real-time employee sentiment visibility is now accessible on your payroll management dashboard.

Roles and Permissions are a must-have to manage your payroll securely.

Define user access and protect payroll data access with e-PayDay Go® Roles and Permissions.

Roles and Permissions empower you to create and manage distinct user roles within the e-PayDay Go® platform. Each user is assigned a specific role, which outlines their access rights and capabilities within the system. You can restrict a Role to access only specific Menu Items and limit the functionality within that section.

For example, you can configure a role that restricts the user to only generating reports, enabling them to process or analyse data while keeping other functionalities, such as processing a pay run, off-limits. This tailored approach ensures that users have the appropriate level of access to perform their tasks effectively and securely.

In the upcoming release, Version 4.80, we are excited to introduce a new Timesheet permission explicitly designed for Managers and Supervisors. This feature will empower them to review and approve individual employee timesheets, ensuring accuracy and accountability in tracking work hours.

The new Timesheet permission streamlines approvals for Managers and Supervisors in e-PayDay Go® V4.80.

Additionally, we already have an established permission that allows for the review and approval of timesheets prior to processing the payroll run, streamlining the payroll management process and enhancing overall efficiency. This enhancement provides a structured approach to timesheet approvals, significantly benefiting employers and employees. You have the option to continue without the timesheets being approved if this step is not part of your natural business process.
