You need to ready for Single Touch Payroll from 1 July 2018.

Over the last few months, we've sent numerous e-mails about Single Touch Payroll and how it will affect you and your business. We've been working closely with the Australian Taxation Office since 1 July 2017 and have been successfully submitting our Payroll Information each pay day. It has been smooth sailing for quite some time, therefore we are ready to get you started, early! From 21 February 2018, you will be able to download and start using Single Touch Payroll in Version 18. If you do not wish to be an early STP adopter, this upgrade includes some other changes. Confirmation will be emailed upon the release of Version 18.

Single Touch Payroll reporting is mandatory and starts from 1 July 2018. To find out when you need to report through Single Touch Payroll, you will need to do a headcount of the employees you have on 1 April 2018.
