Fair Work Commission Wages Increase
The Fair Work Commission (FWC) has raised the national minimum wage.
Minimum wages in modern awards will be increased by either:

$40 (where the current minimum wage is ≤ $869.60 per week) or

4.6% (where the current minimum wage is > $869.60 per week).
Removal of the Calendar Month SG Rule
From 1st July 2022, the $450.00 Calendar Month Super Rule has been removed. This means that unless the employee is under 18 or a domestic/private worker and works more than 30 hours per week, superannuation will accrue from the first dollar they earn.
2022-23 Employer Super Guarantee increase
The 2022 Budget confirmed that the mandatory Employer Superannuation Guarantee increases to 10.50% from 1 July 2022.
2022-23 Study and Training Support Loans
The Government has announced that Study and Training Support Loan Rates and Thresholds have been increased for FYE 30 June 2023.
